I'm afraid I got some bad news.
Dodgers have won three straight games, so that means you are fucked.

Lost in the shuffle was a really good turn by Wilson, who looked very much like Wilson of last year and old. That was the formula working.
    Kenley looking good , too.
If we could depend a little more on Perez, it would be so-o-o cool.

That was pretty unprofessional announcing from those two Cardinal duflus; Tim McCarver sounds like he's gonna cry when things don't go the Cards way, and the other guy (I forgot who the asshole is) is just a wiseass and sarcastic any- other- team- but- the- Cardinals hater. Do we need his comments on Puig's dopey haircut? NO. About as much as we need mine. BTW, the plural of duflus is duflus, like deer is both singular and plural.
Puig's antics and demeanor are less than endearing, I admit, especially when he's stinking up the place like right now...but fuck these two guys.
It's amazing , with Hanley not really on the field for any considerable length of time at all, and when he was, a huge part of it doing zero, Agon in a month and a half slump, Puig looking pretty bad, Ethier non-existent, Kemp finally coming around after a miserable start...besides the obvious great SP, how the hell are we doing what we are?
Must be guys like Turner and the soon-to-be-replaced-by-Guerrero Dee...even "garbage" men like Rojas, too, I guess.
Oh, and let's go Cueto...muy fuerte, amigo.

He'll be the first to say he can't blow the batters away anymore. But seriously, is he better now than he was then?

It is indeed the low-pay guys (aside from the SP) who've been the catalysts for much of the recent success. I hate to say this -- if Hanley is hitting like last year, then by all means he's our best option at short, but if he's not, I almost prefer Rojas and his glove. Did you see that leaping snag he made yesterday?

Big win last night against their ace with our #4. This series is now set up where we can sweep this thing. Hopefully the past road trip into this big series can be stretch where this team finally gets the ball rolling.
I'd love to get Paco back to lengthen the bullpen out, but I think more than anything the team is stashing him in AAA to keep his innings down for a stretch run.

You could be right about Paco...the problem is, with Maholm the other LH out there, the runs scored if he's in there will be anything but down, like Paco's innings.
JP is great, but only human; probably faltering slightly, but still a better shot than Maholm I would think.

don't look now, but that #4 is pitching like an ace
#3 in era of all mlb starters
if the season ended today, he'd not only win comeback player of the year but also get some serious and well-deserved cy young consideration

Speaking of lefties, Elbert is throwing again in AA. 4 appearances so far with mixed results. Hope to see him back up soon.

Have to say I hate the Cardinals losing, but it was one of the best if not the best game I have seen all year long. Great game my Dodger Peeps, damn why couldn't it already be game time...
