fucken espn sacred cow his lame ass schtick grew old about 20 years ago get some new info or fucken gtfo
He's the Harry Caray of ESPN. At least you could say that Harry had been drinking... Maybe Berman should start...
the difference was caray was just being himself berman tries to be clever and funny... and fails miserably i can't even watch nfl primetime because his tired schtick is always the same... "he... could... go... all... the... way!" fucken shameless hack
It's going to be a great ASG... This is one of the best time of the year for me and a lot of other baseball fans. It doesn't surprise me that the media will give Matheny shit... On the other hand what the fuck his there argument... Wainwright and Kershaw are the two best pitchers in the NL right now, I bet they would try like hell to get Linceum in the thoughts if they could. Man you can't go wrong with either pick, it's not like that pitcher that starts is going to be the one to last 7 to 8 innings... I wish the damn media would get a fucking clue... Waino deserves it just like Kershaw would have, on the other hand what would they have said if Matheny would have picked Kershaw.. Oh, wait a minute, he didn't pick his guy what would happen in the clubhouse after this blah blah blah... Grow the fuck up media!!!!!! Matheny isn't picking Waino with a 9-8 record with a 3.30 era.... Waino is 12-4 with a 1.78 era... Rant ended...
no win situation to be sure their stats are near identical imo, he has to pick his guy if it offends a few dodger people, players, fans, fine much better than offending one of his own if he could start both of them i'm sure he would
Well that was rather uneventful. Other than Stanton almost hitting it out of the stadium I thought it was pretty boring. Puig didn't help matters either. Maybe dodgers should just not be in the derby......
I have no issue with Matheny picking his guy. Would've been foolish not to. I do have a problem with Kruk's continued blatant hatred for all things LA, which was obvious once again. These guys who let personal biases affect their commentary really tarnish their profession.
I guess it's me and my dislike for this trumped-up joke we watch each year, but that was as exciting and entertaining as a hangnail. Puig even did worse than I thought he would, and all the 87 interviews and the looped Kevin Costner answers in Spanish he gave notwithstanding, it was flat out a shit night. Didn't look like he had the slightest clue to me at all. All he did was prove Cespedes' overall superiority, IMO. He got his way and was chosen, and a new sarcastic expression for failure has come from it, "he was as successful as Puig in the HR Derby"...what a farce. It's a good thing there is some charities making out on this to balance out the drivel and bullshit.
BTW, I sure hope he has a good game tonight...with the performance in the HRD, a bad night in the ASG might flip him out completely. I always worry about him....as a drama queen tried and true, he could do something incredibly dumb and embarrassing to make up for it. The bobble the other night on a base hit, and him standing there , staring, was just so juvenile and ridiculous. Maybe he can hit a HR tonight, and help the NL win it....that will be a cool way to make up for it (not that he has to). I can't wait until this is all over.
