he has still spent the most years of his career as a Dodger, and had his breakout season here. And he hasn't spent time anywhere else long enough to become synpnemous with a certain uniform.

He either goes in as a dodger or no hat?

doubt he'd go in as a dodger
most people forget he even played here
now if we were to re-acquire him...

This pisses me off, if he wasn't lowballed by Depodesta, he could've been one of the all time great Dodgers.

Such a shame. How irrelevant we were during a great era of baseball. Imagine facing those Yankee or Red Sox teams in the WS.

But no. Pedro, Kenerko, Beltre, Piazza, etc all won elsewhere

His most successful year as a Dodger was his last one.

I think he goes in capless or as a Ranger.

I think cap less. His best season of his pro career came as a Dodger, but besides that, he only had only one other good year for us.

I don't think he gets in. He's had some great years and very good overall career but was too inconsistent to be a HOF'r IMO. Hypothetically though I'd imagine he'd be a ranger. Went to he WS and was/is consistently fantastic during his Texas tenure.

The only way he gets into the HOF is buy paying the entry fee like I do, in which case, he can wear any hat he wants.

You guys are nuts, Beltre is 396 hits shy of 3,000 and he turns 36 in late June. Unless he gets injured he's a lock for 3,000 hits and therefore the Hall.

How many guys with 3,000 hits (who aren't suspected of roids) are NOT in the hall?
