I see the Broncos put up as many points against the Sea Hawks on Friday as the Red Sox did against Seattle on Saturday.

WTF?!?! We don't need another IF or OF, especially either one of these two. Fuck, some of this shit is just so stupid. Go get a top end back of the BP guy.

Dodgers, Red Sox Discussing Alejandro De Aza
By Jeff Todd [August 17, 2015 at 4:25pm CDT]
The Dodgers and Red Sox are engaged in trade talks regarding outfielder Alejandro De Aza, Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports reports (Twitter links). Boston acquired De Aza from the Orioles in early June.

Per the report, the Dodgers are considering De Aza as an alternative acquisition target to Chase Utley. While the two obviously don’t play the same position, Rosenthal suggests that adding De Aza would allow Los Angeles to continue deploying Kike Hernandez at second base in place of the injured Howie Kendrick.

De Aza is a much better option then Guerrero, so it's for that reason, then cool. Other then that, I don't see who he would replace on the current roster that it makes sense

De Aza can actually back up in CF, especially with Kiké at 2B now permanently for a few weeks. The issue is that De Aza can't hit LHP, so a platoon with Joc doesn't make sense. (FWIW I think De Aza is a decent player, but not sure how he fits here)

De Aza's been pretty good since going to Boston.

Being that De Aza can play CF, Joc may be getting ready to get some rest. Don't know who he replaces. Interesting stuff because he's played well.

Why are the Dodgers looking at Utley?

Platoon with SVS in CF? That'd really be a way to get Joc rested and recharged. And both De Aza and SVS have had recent success in CF, De Aza of course having more experience there.

I used to feel the same way, but then I thought about the Giants and how Callaspo looks just like a guy who would go there and lead the world in slap hits against us at 2B for them.

Probably. I mean, Marco freaking Scutaro was hitting like Ichiro in his prime in the playoffs with the Giants

Yeah, they seem ti get the better end of the deal. Pence is/was nails, but we got to screamin Hawaiian instead.

They got Hudson and Peavy who have contributed although not spectacular. I don't think we did anything last year....I don't even remember.

I'm pretty terrified about potentially facing Uribe in the NLDS. You just know he'll murder us

Essentially benching Joc isn't an option and is a bad idea anyways.
