Donald Trump was right! It’s “all about management.”

Wait, what? The Donald wasn’t talkin’ L.A. baseball? He wasn’t referring to the Dodgers strong-armed strong-willed right fielder, Yasiel Puig? No? Oops. Never mind.

Still. Before we go spending Mark Walter’s money — perhaps as much as $200 million of it — on a right fielder like Jason Heyward, shouldn’t we take another look at the incumbent?

Before we throw up our hands, citing clubhouse “chemistry” for the millionth time without ever really understanding how it works, with a cry that Puig must go because of what Scott Van Slyke’s idiot father said on a Missouri-based talk show, wouldn’t a chat with new skipper slash people-person Dave Roberts be a good idea?

Isn’t counseling prior to divorce a worthwhile exercise?

Isn’t an attempt at transforming the player worth exploring? Because maybe, with some wise counsel from Roberts and a new staff of coaches at Camelback, Puig can be coaxed into a spring awakening, all fresh and Dodger Blue from cap to cleat come February.

I have no idea if there is anything to this vague “report” (and the Dodgers had no comment) from an ESPN Deportes boxing guy — who neglects to include a date, time or any information regarding witnesses, videos, photos or police involvement — so calm is in order for the time being.

But I’d sure like to see if Roberts can do with Puig what Don Mattingly could not, which is reach one of his in-need players — or “charges,” as I call them — in a way that works for all concerned, which very much includes the other 24 guys in the room.

The way I see it you can wrestle with a problem or solve one. It’s entirely up to you.​

Yasiel Puig insane Bar Brawl ...after MLB Star pushes woman

Yasiel Puig was involved in a massive brawl at a Miami bar after the Dodgers star got physical with a woman and struck several staffers.

We spoke with employees at Blue Martini in Miami, who tell us Puig was drinking with the woman Wednesday night when they got into a heated argument ... and things escalated when he pushed her.

Bar staffers immediately rushed over to break it up, but Puig turned on them ... striking several staffers.

The crew was eventually able to get Puig outside where they say he brutally sucker punched the manager, setting off another brawl.

Several staffers rushed in to help ... jumping all over Yasiel until he was restrained.

We're told cops responded, but Puig was not arrested. Staffers are considering whether to press charges.

We reached out to Puig's camp, so far no word back.​
