Like the Mets and Rangers last year, the Cubs and next the G'nats will show the geniuses how to do it, I'm sure......

While we all feel "the smart" of other people's parades for going on 30 years.

If Greinke would have covered 3B, then we would have won despite going 1-2381238238 with risp in game 5.

In case your memory is short, we HAD the most dominant 1-2 punch in the league last year, hands down. Didn't mean shit...if we got Sale (and we won't) it won't mean shit either. Last I heard, you still have to score to win.

Nothing. Kershaw would still be on the DL.

Well, my cousin's neighbor has a '78 Buick Skylark he's selling for 37K. Does his asking price make it worth it? :D

Is Friedman trying to "fleece" his old team now?

Like if we would have traded Urias for Price? My guess is we no longer have Urias, but we have a ring.

...and if Hamels or Price had been on the roster in the NLDS last year?

Conveniently missing the part where we had the worst 3-5 punch in the league as well. This year's 3-5 punch is MUCH better.

No, but he could theoretically hold the 2015 Mets to less than 13 runs in Game 3 of the NLDS.

Don't feed these appetites for destruction.
I saw a Phillies team with Hamels add Cliff Lee and Roy Halladay and win nothin, bro.
In fact, the Phillies won it all with Hamels/Moyer/Myers/Kendrick as their rotation. Lol
And then of course the Royals ran to the WS with Shields as their ace and bunch of BS behind him against a SFG team with Bumgarner and a bunch of BS behind him.
It'd really help LAD more than anything if Clayton Kershaw stopped getting shelled.
Oh...and if LAD scored some runs.

So im guessing everyone wants to keep Urias because they believe he is going to pan out.....like Kershaw and Seager have. Does anyone think there is a possibility that Urias does not pan out??? How many of our #1 prospects have made as big of an impact as Sale is making so far?? I would say not many. Here is the list of our #1 rated prospects from 2014 to 2003, Pederson/Ryu/Lee/Gordon/Gordon/Lambo/Kershaw/Laroche/Billingsly/Guzman/Jackson/Loney. So Kershaw is the clear cut best and on par with Sale.....then one would say Pederson/Ryu/Gordon/Billingsley, but these guys are no where near Sale in production. So really how good have our #1's been. Don't get me wrong, I like Urias, but it just seems to me if we can convert his potential talent into current talent, you do it.

    this
    and let's be honest...
when this team is scoring runs they're capable of beating anyone
the cost for this year's starters at the deadline is absurd/prohibitive due to the weak market
    fuck sale
a package of urias/holmes/verdugo/beuhler should net us more than one overpriced pitcher
if we can get an archer for a reasonable price, fine
otherwise stick with what we've got for this year

Game 3 was really inconsequential. If the aces had not lost game 1 or game 5, no one would give a happy shit about game 3.
