Horrible. If we had Villar and Braun even a horrible lineup like that one could be saved. 3B Villar SS Seager LF Braun RF Puig 1B Gonzales C Grandal CF Eibner 2B Taylor P Kershaw
The Braun and Villar stuff is funny enough on its own. But when you post the line up every time, I absolutely lose it especially the way you spell GonzaleS.
This lineup is exactly like 2011. You've got the collection of absolute nobodies and sad hasbeens with the lonely bright spots. Seager as Kemp, Kershaw as Kershaw, Gonzalez is Juan Rivera.
As long as Corey rests. Clayton will have to pitch and hit himself to victory...a small task. Also, as I am not here for the baseball acumen ( I'm sure I'm missing out), just simply for the violence...but I think it is a goddam shame opposing pitchers are bouncing balls off our players bodies left and right without even a hint of retaliation--not a whisper--and the only one with balls enough to do something about it is Kershaw, who has to do every fucking thing else too. Sucking at playing baseball is one thing...but being milquetoast fops is another. You've either got heart, or you don't.
Fine how bout we throw Eric Thames into the deal with the Brewers so i dont have to ever say Gonzales again? Villar Seager Braun Thames Turner Puig Joc Grandal With Logan as the main utility man who still gets plenty of AB giving everyone lots of rest. Villar himself will move around and allow plenty of time at 2B for Logan. Villar will eliminate the need for an emergency SS on the team most of the time as he can cover for Seager. The team could be so strong that when Bellinger comes up he can be the 4th OF. Playing in LF and Braun can go to RF while Puig or Joc play CF. That is the only way you could justify having 'legacy' players on your bench like Ethier and Utley. Because as currently built we need to maximize each batter bench spot for guys who hit the crap out of lefties.
