Patriots killing this draft but at least the Jets got Quinnen Williams. Best chance of ending Brady in years And now Mayock grabs a Belichick target Hunter Renfrow so at least there's some push back with KC potentially losing Hill
Clemson fans going to become Raiders fans at this point lol Renfrow was a huge pesk in college....Clemson's favorite target on 3rd downs. Great at getting open on underneath routes and a sure hands guy....can't believe he's not a Pat. Nice pick. We only scouted the national championship game, apparently
Salty about the Jets getting Williams. Give the Raiders a B for this draft so far....an A if they had gotten Williams. Fucking Jets.
And they actually traded up for Renfrow so there's maybe a solid chance he sticks around Lol Being an older rook could help him get in good with this particular coach
Wanted him too but I'm just happy he landed in the Pats' division. Sick of the Pats cruising. Jets have been active. If their murderer HC can do the job..maybe soon some day the Pats will fold
Carr gonna be Renfrow's bald brother pretty soon We really only need to sign Ziggy Ansah to a reasonable contract at this point. Still need another starting caliber DE A Patrick Peterson trade would be cool..Chicago's pick next year to Arizona for PP
http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/26629518/rockets-harden-wants-fair-chance-refs What a joke. The one player in this league that gets a huge chunk of his points off BS shooting fouls is asking for a fair shot from the refs? What a laugh. Maybe shooting significantly better than 30% from the field might be the better solution.
To be fair the Golden State defenders were consistently landing under his feet. That is a foul all game long.
If anybody had balls on the Rockets team they'd beat the shit out of KD or Steph the next time they do it. Take em out the series, gotta take care of Harden
Problem is guys like Harden and CP3 flail their legs after the shot trying to draw calls, so it's impossible to officiate because it's so hard to tell if the defender got in the shooters space, or the shooter got in the defenders space. The league needs to aggressively call offensive fouls on that shit to get players to stop the flailing/flopping, then they can protect the shooters when players do land under them.
Dorsey left KC with a bunch of problem children and now he's at it in Cleveland. Greedy Williams is an idiot, says Browns are now going to the Super Bowl Lol Carolina hoping Grier can replace clown Newton in Carolina. The shoulder injury for Newton is as good an excuse as they'll get I don't know how Harmon fell all the way like he did, but the Skins got a good one, McLaurin is good too. Haskins has a couple
EVERY league wants offense let alone the NBA which calls travelling about once a game if that so to expect the refs to start calling more offensive fouls is WISHFUL thinking. NOT watching the games so I can't say one way or the other but a couple of articles are suggesting the dubs are getting a majority of the calls.
Every league does want more offense, but that's generally the goal in the regular season. Broad scope, the theory is of course, " more offense = more viewership "..but viewership isn't a problem in the playoffs. In the playoffs, leagues want to tighten up and get the calls right because whole seasons are on the line and leagues need transparency or they're no better than pro wrestling. All of these leagues are about to hop in bed with Vegas and so when the playoffs roll around and championships are on the line, they don't give a damn if the games are low scoring. They just want the right team advancing. Which is why we're now about to enter a era in the NFL where pass interference is challengeable thanks to the crew that just blew the Saints/Rams NFC title game. The ending of that game was unacceptable, especially for a league that has hopped into bed with Vegas. A lot of people lost money on the most blatant missed called in 15+ years.
Harden was also pretty weak against the Jazz last series, so this was coming. He shot 37% from the field. Harden is the old guy at the YMCA that can't really hang athletically, and is always calling fouls and trying little tricky shit that'll get him over. Every postseason, at one point or another, he fails to get over the athletic bar. But not only did Harden not shoot well against the Jazz..he pretty much had the worst flop I've ever seen on the NBA level, so his complaining should fall on deaf ears. He faked like Ingles hit him in the throat and then just missed an entire possession while in the backcourt grabbing at his throat..as if we wouldn't see the replay and see zero contact. Fuck Harden. Dude represents too much negativity as far as the game goes. The incessant dribbling and flopping. Fuck that guy.
