HAD to post this even though I am supposed to be on hiatus. :D

Hyun Jin Ryu today 4 shutout innings, struck out 3, threw 55 pitches with 40 of them being strikes!!!! Predicting 1 more start and up to the big leagues for him.

I'm going to politely disagree, Verdugo right now is showing to be one of the best young hitters in the game. He just turned 20 years old last week, but has still been more than holding his own at AA. Seager at 20, started the year off in HiA for 80 games before the club moved him up. Verdugo is 4 years younger than the average competition and showing that he can more than handle things and may not be long for AA. He has better potential in CF over Joc, but his D plays better in RF if he eventually has to move there. With the way he has adjusted and crushed since the team tinkered with his swing, I think for the moment you don't move him unless it is for someone absolutely elite. The scouting reports on him are all very positive with one big knock being his power potential. He has started to calm that with 7 bombs so far this season and 4 in 23 games after a promotion last season. The system is loaded with arms, but they have to hold on to these young bats that have potential to be a force in the middle or top of a lineup. His ability to take walks and not strike out will be important for team with a lot of bats that are heavy swing and miss.

Love that Verdugo and Bellinger are down there battling together, hopefully Bellinger can pick it back up and they make the next step to AAA together as well

If puig turns it around where the others gonna play?
Belli can replace agon i guess.
Verdugo can be the 4th OF.
Can Calhoun stick at 2b or is he destined to be a LF like Alex guerrero?
Maybe calhoun should work at 3B?
Unless he has a weak arm.

    - Calhoun has not set the world on fire thus far this season, but he is starting to heat up and his defense has taken a step forward which is a nice plus. The word was that he took his lackluster D very seriously this off season and spring, which I usually see as a contributing factor to guys having a slow start. If he could play just average D at 2B, that would be fantastic as everyone says his bat is legit.

    - Bellinger is on fire and that is great to see. Missing the first few weeks of the season is never good and it showed after that slow as hell start. He is catching up now and is back to looking like the legit 1B of the future.

Where do all of them play? Well you are still looking at late 2017 call ups with potential for full time duties in 2018 IF they all keep progressing, which is far from likely. If in the extremely rare situation they all do come up and show to be full time players, you'll get in 2018 likely Pederson LF, Verdugo CF, Puig RF... though if Thompson is still doing better, this is the last year of Puig's contract so the team could try to move him for pieces as I just don't see them ponying up for the big contract for him. If AGon's power regression continues, you could also see him moved to a team that is in need of some sort of short term filler, though the Dodgers still eat a ton. They have nobody under contract for 2B so Calhoun is not looking at a fight, yet. The Dodgers have a ton in expiring contracts after 2017 which is the ETA for their top hitting prospects and year two of the ETA of top pitching prospects. It could be a very interesting off-season leading up to it.
