True. The problem is, his streaks nowadays are almost 100% of the cold variety.

“We obviously like what Pages-sy is doing, but guys like CT-sy and Kiké-sy are the foundation of this organization… a lot like me when you think about it. Except, of course, that I’m irreplaceable.”

Robots makes me yearn for the Grady Little days...or Donnie BB.
Or Leo Durocher, and he's dead.
    Or his gf, Lana.

    taylor down to .030
to put that into perspective (as if we need to), andy pages could go 0-for his next 600 and still have a higher avg

dodgers could release taylor and then option him to OKC after he clears waivers
extremely unlikely anyone would claim an .030 hitter still owed nearly $30 mil

Kaylor's OPS would be a miserable batting average.

Kaylor isn't going to hit .045 all season. But at this point what's reasonable to expect? .100? .125? .150? He's not going to get his average up to the bare minimum that should be expected from him... .225 or so. Nice guy, and he's had some clutch moments in the past, but I don't know what the team hopes to accomplish by continuing to give him ABs. And luckily Heyward isn't near a return, because you know once he does, Pages is getting sent down and Kaylor keeps flailing.

    1.Taylor isn't a Dodger after the ASB

    2. He ends the season sub .200

    3. Roberts plays him through May and he won't hit more than one finger in that span.

Love the guy but he's done. So am I. We're both Sears & Roebuck material.
