    Alex Vesia had been warming up in the early part of that half-inning, and if you're not bringing him in to face Rosario and Freeman when the lineup turns over a third time, after a double by a pinch-hitter, then I don't know why he was warming up in the first place.

    For all the money and hype, he's a little underwhelming. Nice ball player but I expected way more than a guy that occasionally gets a base hit and never gets an extra base hit for the money he is making

    Buehler’s gonna get blamed but Rosario will test positive for steroids, they’ll announce it in December, he executed the exact pitch Smith called, and somehow that roider just hit it. Smith is at fault for calling all hard stuff, you have a curve, slider and changeup and refused to use any of them
