    Got milk?
I hope that spells the end of the mini slumps.
Now for a romp AB for Gonzo.
Greinke just a superb all around athlete. It wasn't mentioned much, but he made simply a great play covering first with Gonzo's throw to his feet. Tremendous body control.

I can only imagine the ERA had he been yanked in the ninth

Yeah the Kershaw Grienke 1-2 is hard to top but it takes so much more to earn a ring

Let's hope we keep our shit together next month

Getting to and winning the World Series is a real possibility this year, but it takes luck too. St Louis and that last HR and pretty much all of the Giants season last year.

Agreed. Sorry guys but I still like Gibby, shoot me I know! :D The gnats cheat starting with spies in the outfield when Bobby Thompson hit that homerun and ending with PED/steroid users like Barry and Melky.

Really interested as to why we'd have Ethier AND Carl playing today against the lefty (who does hold lefties to an OPS about 80 points lower than righties). I know that we just sat Ethier and Carl, but Don sat Carl vs. a lefty which is fine but Don sat Ethier vs. a righty when we were facing a lefty two days later without any travel happening. Maybe it's nitpicking and what not but woulda been nice to play Ethier on Sunday and sit him today.

    Oh well, lets win.

and looks like Irish answered my question before I posted it... Seems like Mattingly is going with success against pitchers given he sucked against Peavy and has I guess, success, against Wood (tiny sample size with Wood, and still a small with Peavy, but if Don is going with info that is beyond what we have, say that it's struggles/success against the type of pitching styles they are, than okay, thats cool.)

I'm obviously a Mark Ellis supporter but batting him there above Ethier makes me throw up. Especially looking at the numbers vs. Wood. Ellis 2-6 or Ethier 3-8

The minute they put a RHP from the pen in, the lineup turns to shit there.

Not arguing the validity of your point but doesn't Dre always bat 7th when a lefty is going?

I'd say usually 6th like today.(I assume you mean 6th?)

I think he should bat 5th today or put Uribe 5th.
