We need 3 spots (watson, Yu, and Cingrani) Paredes was sent down for Watson, and I think ravin will be sent down for Cingrani. The other spot will be down to Brock, Stripling and Fields. Brock is the best of the 3 even in the bullpen, but they might want to keep him stretched out as a starter. Stripling could go down if they prefer Brock, since having Brock and Stripling is a bit redundant. Fields might go down if they think his home run problem is too bad for the bullpen. I'll bet it's Stripling but who knows
We have to go 50-7 to finish the season in order to have the highest winning percentage in history. So I have to vote sweep, about every other series

would have liked to see paredes hang around a little longer i know its a long shot but w 50+ remaining it would have been nice to see him expand on what he accomplished i love stories like that and think he had decent stuff probably never know now
Really thought they hit on something with both of these guys. Fields was very good early on, hit a rough patch and has never recovered.
Well if he was tipping his pitches in his last start, it's probably wise to give him a couple extra days to prep with his new catcher.
So glad this is an east coast game. I'm in a sports bar in Boston and it would be brutal to have to wait until 10 something. No idea how all you out here do it.
they don't care about west coast sports over there for the most part but i've had a lot of fun in boston and ny sports bars and their fans can't imagine too many of them staying up late unless they are transplants and that has to be brutal BZ has it down i think
I think it is only 2. I don't think Cingrani is going to be on the major league roster just yet. I would bet that Watson and Yu are added to the 25 man roster while Cingrani is added to the 40 man roster and sent to AAA. If that is the case then only 2 spots are needed cuz SVS left.
Reporters said that Roberts informed them Cingrani would be with the club on Thursday. I don't think the Tony's can be sent to Triple a either cause of lack of options or too much service time
Yeah, just red that after I posted. I also saw that Parades was optioned for Watson. So looks like Brock will be optioned for Darvish. My guess is either Ravin or Fields goes down for Cingrani.
Why was Paredes and Brock optioned....I mean I know why in terms of making space for the new guys, but I thought both could contribute more than Fields and Dayton.
