Shame an epic catch by Taylor is wasted in a loss. One of the best I've seen by a Dodger. Pepiot seems to be going through some of the same growing pains that Gonsolin did. Good stuff, just needs to throw strikes. His biggest sin in the first wasn't the HR to Adames, it was the walk to a struggling Yelich. Love Alberto the cheerleader. Hate Alberto at the plate. Mindless hack. Once again (Kimbrel aside) the bullpen was nails. Take advantage of a couple of scoring opportunities and the Kimbrel factor doesn't come into play. Got no words for Gallo on the basepaths.
You're a terrible person. Bravo. Throngs agree with you, I'd bet. That being said, it's the only way he'll go away, because the Roberts stunada insistence on repeating the same mistake again and again is a recipe for heartbreak...coming full steam directly at our faces. So what you said... " so let it be written, so let it be done". I think incessant booing and jeering by Dodger fans at DS when he comes in would send a message, but most of them are just looking for a swat at that fucking stupid beachball, I think. Kimbrel, in his particular role and spot is more than capable of dashing an historic year to smithereens. A perfect example last night, of a better calibre club and what the outcome could easily be...and the clubs in tnee post we meet will most likely be better than the Brewers, for sure. Unfortunately, the 17 game cushion means nothing in this ultimate weakness, as we could win 115 games, and have it all go up in smoke by this has been and this spectacularly over rated Roberts. So glad. we got Crazy Joe, too. You can lick FO taint all you want, but getting Gallo and Kimbrel is like introducing free radicals into an otherwise very healthy body.
Everything you say is probably true and I still fully blame Krumbel. The walk to Urias in that situation is inexcusable. Last night I was only following on Gamecast, but if the graphics were accurate (and I have no reason to think they weren't based on his previous outings that I've watched), most of his called balls were nowhere near the plate. Can't have "Wild Thing" closing games for us. That's just a losing proposition.
he was able to throw a couple of sharp breaking pitches but when he missed he was waaaaaay out of the zone
well at least he can look back on catching the game that broke a 12 game win streak and going 0 for 3 w 3k's
I don't know why the Brewers are behind anyone at all...don't get it. Second in HRs, really good starters, very decent bp, and probably the best overall defense I've seen all year. The IF is superb. And a damn good manger, I wish we had him. I can't understand why they're not on top of everyone.
