pretty shitty against az in july too but otherwise pretty damn consistent/solid concerned more about two consecutive poor starts
trying to tell myself this game doesn't matter and nothing matters til Friday. We can't predict what will happen all we can do is hope and pray I guess
also ironic that he's had two poor starts since they announced they were giving it to him regardless maybe they should add a postseason incentive that gives him $1MM per shutout
mostly Turner yesterday it was his error that gave up two runs.. while he went 0-4 Today Turner SHOULD have caught that awesome throw from Puig at 3B and when the runner overran the bag he'd of been out but Turner can't catch the ball two errors in big play in two days not playing like a veteran
may have thought this earlier [the non homo part] but down four with five innings to go i just don't see it team has played like shit since clinching
Just from watching today's game, it looks like the players have been instructed to not get themselves hurt - they aren't diving at balls and are being cautious around walls. If that's in the back of their minds I could see it throwing them off on defense in general.
Damn good approach I'd say, with all the injuries we've had + all the impactful injuries that have peppered playoff bound teams recently...shiiiiiiyet We lost today? Lol
though not if it induces bad LOSING habits that persist when you're not able to 'turn it on' again later
this is the first [and likely the last] time i'll ever say this... thank you giants fans! very classy and much appreciated Doug Padilla ✓@Doug Padilla 21 minutes ago Giants fans salute Vin Scully. One spot on the out-of-town scoreboard reads, "THX VIN." Sinatra's "My Way" plays.
