    Worse thing was, they both would have scored. Had $2000 dollars on that series, albeit $2000 dollars I made from the 2006 squads post all star break run. Still sucked though. This series was when I learned to gamble with my head and not with my heart.

    i truly try to forget moments like this
    this one having to have been about as an embarrassing as anything i've ever seen this team accomplish
    but how exactly would they have scored?
    i don't want to youtube it and watch the horror again

    And of course we lost that game by 1.

    That bullshit could have changed the whole series....we go up 1 game to 0 and the Mets face a lot of pressure in game 2.

    JD Drew's draft fiasco was the first time I ever heard of Scott Boras.

    Boras went on to be a superstar. JD Drew went on to reach new levels of meh.
