I do not know if anyone else would be interested but I thought a thread dedicated to the latest Dodger news (with articles) be put here. I like getting all my Dodger news in the same place (I have an ap on my phone from Zenobi) and thought we could incorporate the same concept here. Basically, the idea would be put up all the articles about the Dodgers and then people could make a thread if they feel there is an issue that would be "thread worthy". I am taking the article encapsulation from DailyDodgers.com. All credit to their sources. Some of them will be fluff pieces or snippets but some will be have a bit of substance. Let me know what you think. Great. I like all the different sources. I only check LA Times and MLB daily - so it would be good to see what is going on in other places.

http://losangeles.dodgers.mlb.com/n...notebook_id=27429760&vkey=notebook_la&c_id=la Sands is in real danger of not making the opening day roster. I have always thought the expectations was overly optimistic but I hope I am wrong.
Yea, I find myself telling Angel fans Trumbo sucks and then I think if Sands can even match what Trumbo does. Probably not. But hey, I'm pessimistic. Hopefully he turns into a good ML hitter.

I wonder what he calls last season's .204 stellar effort...shit like this is nauseating. He's a huge piece of the puzzle missing totally offensively, with no help in sight. It's the old Dodgers 3B bugaboo come back to haunt us. Almost zero from him, no power from he catcher's spot, Rivera sporadic at best, Loney the great mystery, Ellis minimal...looks like Dee, Andre and Kemp are the hitting. Power at a premium, once again. We just never seem to have "the other one we need" for any length of time. From what I see, looks like the 'other one' plays for Cleveland. It's simply just too sad about Sands...and it looks as if no one can help him. I don't even know what he's doing wrong...he just sucks now.
...sigh... I wish you hadn't summed it up so well... It DOES seem like we have this conversation almost every damn year... Is it April yet? When do we get rid of McCrook and see what some fresh blood can pull off?? Long overdue...
last 50 years of Dodger world... O'Malleys = great baseball folks but always broke... we couldn't afford more talent but they were our family and we fans understood...sometimes families are broke... not everyone can be a fucking Yankee... Fox = moron media outfit had no clue... plenty of coin but couldn't purchase a clue if their souls depended on it. Quickly proved to be soulless so it didn't matter. McCourt = thief... wife is equal thief... no clue and didn't care about club as they were only interested in looting Dodger checkbook for his and hers houses all over the country... morons and thieves I don't want to jinx us but come on now can it get much worse?? I just want a 3B who hits at least .280 and hits 25 HR's and I'll settle down. I've given up on .300 & 30 as it's just not going to happen...
David Wright has been on my radar, but he keeps getting injured and he's in decline in about every element of his game.
As of now though, he seems like the most realistic option. With the situation the Mets are in and how they will most likely fall behind the Phillies, Nationals, and Braves, they're going to need to dump players soon.
