    .320 OBP. Just... Sure, better than we have, but Victorino? I just... can't stomach it. Juan Pierre OBP this year too, and we hated him at leadoff.

    That's true, but Victorino is also a way better defensive player than Juan (I mean, he can actually throw a ball more than 40 feet).

    I understand the Victorino hate, i've learned to hate his guts over the years with his antics vs us in the NLCS and his antics in general, but have always appreciated how hard he plays, and if he helps us win, I'll learn to like him. Not my first choice either though, that's for sure. I hate the fucking Phillies and am enjoying everyone second of them rotting in last place.

    I think taking a flyer on his good D, hard nosed play, and hoping he is a bit rejuvenated offensively is a risk worth taking, as he is a FA to be. We won't be stuck with him.
