    he's also a rookie that they're trying to develop, so the 8 spot is perfect in keeping him honest because he'll continue to see a low amount of strikes. he'll have to lay off balls, be smart at the plate, and get a lot of practice in shortening up when behind in a count. it's perfect training on the job for a young talent. not a whole lot of pressure.

    and then of course he's helping the team right now by getting them through the pitcher's spot so often as well..no reason to disrupt him.

    McCarthy's book is written as a player..makes no sense to even compare him to Joc..a young player that they're trying to develop. results wise..OK..but they have an agenda with Joc.

    I love going to Dodger games in San Diego. It's 50/50 in fan base and it's a great stadium. They definitely got it right.

    I need to take a weekend trip down there and chill with my cousin.
