now...KEEP THE BALL DOWN IN THE ZONE, McCarthy. they don't have any fuckin Ted Williamses over there. let them get themselves out.
now just don't go and give this shit right back again McCarthy. He has been staked to over 5 runs a game every start
Me relax? I'm chilled as fuck having a beer and watching the game. You seem to be the one with a stick up your arse trying to be the post police, how is that even fun? I couldn't be more relaxed if I was getting a BJ and having a toke. If someone mentions how much someone who's sucking sucks, why do you need to chip in with some useless bullshit telling them to chill lol? You need to chill and enjoy the game.
Thing with joc is that his line is unsustainable in the opposite way that McCarthys line is. They'll regress both negatively and positively, respectively Pederson simply isn't making enough contact. He sees the second least amount of strikes in the league aided by batting #8. His babip won't be .440 all year. So if you move him out of #8, he'll probably see more strikes (however his problem isn't necessarily swinging at balls outside the zone but moreso making contact) and then his walk rate will likely decline. So it may not be the best course atm
I don't have a problem with McCarthy, I mean he's a fifth starter. But the price tag for this? I'm sure some minor league minimum wager could get equivalent results at this point.
He's got a .433 OBP, even if that regresses to say .350 as that BABIP drops, it's still worth moving up in the lineup.
