I know Kershaw is made of different stuff, but if I were him, I'd be so pissed that my team gave me nothing, I had no margin for error, that I had to get my own RBI! I'd ask for a trade to a team that gave a rats ass about winning.
kershaw took matters into his own hands but before we get too happy let's look at the facts 1. it's the padres 2. the offense still mustered only three hits 3. we're still a .500 team sorry to be such a buzzkill but its all about perspective and even if we win the nl west, we're still coming home from the lds 0-3 in a bodybag
To put things even more in perspective, 2 of those 3 hits were AJ and Kershaw. And the team only drew 2 walks... both by AJ. The only positive outside of Kershaw and his designated best friend, were a couple of nice defensive plays.
