Ryu needs to be relegated to home starts against scrub teams and/or to relieve pitchers who need rest. I don't know if there are any player comps for his injury and recovery but it's hard to imagine him being successful.
Man. Almost a great comeback. Ten is a bit too much, really needed to pull our heads from our arses and consolidate early. Should have kept it at five at most. Tried to kill their momentum or some shit.
Ryu has been totally fine if not for two starts at the hell hole called Coors field. Honestly he should never pitch here again, he relies on movement and hitting spots and that isn't happening at Coors
Move the Astros back to the NL and switch them with the Rockies. Puig might be able to get his drives LF to become HR at minute maid. Although it would be weird having the Astros in our division.
tough game but pretty happy how the guys fought back and if utley's gidp had somehow found a hole... would have been real easy, almost understandable, to lay down after it was 10-0 but to come back and score 7 unanswered runs shows a lot of heart and a lot easier for the guys to feel good as opposed to losing 10-0
Good to also see Grandal stay hot like Chase. Should have expected the 1st few innings when the Rocks made their noise considering it was Ryu and the fact that our hitters had to face a totally different pitcher at the last minute. Fingers crossed that the momentum carries over.
Better yet still, swap the Rockies and Pirates... and the Giants with the Rockford Peaches, since we are just choosing our division.
Timing...if Chase gets one of his other hits then, in theninth, this morning we coulda been jumping for joy about the historical comeback. A blowout laugher became a hard fought, much closer game. Really, a hit away from it. I was initially glad Ryu was left in...basically sleep in the bed you crapped in, save the bp some, but looking at the way it turned out, would have made a difference if they did lift him earlier, I believe. I can only assume that the CO starter has some secret knowlege of how to make the other team swing and miss a lot in Coors. What can it be? Don't want to pick on him, as I'm not one of the usual suspects at it, but Yasiel not even looking like he had a chance in hell his last ABs...just amateurish efforts all the way...not a clue.
First game of a series in Colorado......the Ryu decision was a sound one. Great job by the pen holding the fort for the comeback. Holland is an excellent closer, but Puig had no clue at all.
funny thing you are far from the first one to go on a sober run after hanging out w me guess i have that sort of affect on people lol that was a really fun night and if we got together again i would prefer to drink iced tea w you its good to put a nice run together and if you have to play it for all its worth good for you and btw the way isn't reality a strange thing?
