Yeah, it sure is a bad sign...but why did he change so drastically with us ?
I know what the obvious reason is, but damn, baseball is baseball.

    You'd like to think so.

Playing with team playing out the string every year is different than playing with a team with championship aspirations.

Hoping this is just a glitch for Manny. Hate to think he can't handle the heat.

We really don't know whats up with Manny.
He might have gotten slightly injured prior to the trade but is keeping quiet until it heals.
All just speculation though. Who knows whats up.
What we do know is that he is Manny Machado and this is not normal for him.
So im not too worried. Unless he really is injured and it is something that needs surgery.

    we know what we see
and from what we've seen... do you feel confident when he steps to the plate with a risp?
    i know i do not
it's the same when kemp/taylor/barnes/muncy comes up
    zero expectations

If he's injured he sure isn't showing it in the field. He's made some athletic plays that an injured player couldn't make.

I think you're grasping at straws.

Agree...isn't it incredibly odd now that Bellinger and Dozier and Puig have become the go to guys now ?
Something amiss with the consistency of Dodger players...each team has an ebb and flow during a season for sure, but LA seems to be in a 180. Idk why it happens so often...maybe it does to other teams and I'm just not aware of it since I don't watch every game...whatever it is, real or imagined, it sure isn't working too well lately.

How is it possible that Turner's OBP is nearly 380? I haven't seen him do a fucking thing this year

Hard to believe how bad Machado looks at the plate. I'd never take back the deal, but man.

Bumgarner is throwing Enrique slider after slider after slider, down the pipe. He's gotta sit back just a little more on one

I forgot that if Cody didn't hit that miracle HR we would've gotten swept. Although I guess Davis might have blown it anyways.
