    I feel like we’ve seen a lot of this sidearm shit this year. I think it’s been the same 2 guys, but still. Basically it’s a gimmick, and it only works because guys aren’t used to seeing the ball come in at that angle. See it enough and the pitches are meatballs.

    i played ball w a guy named Jim Benedict and he was the best player in school more or less he couldn't throw hard enough for the mlb so he started throwing like quisenberry and made AAA on the royals club
    i think it was quiz and tekulve that were the most successful cause they mixed it up
    agree that its a gimmick and once an mlb player times it its over in short order sort of like knuckleballers
    had a long coaching career and biggest success w the Pittsburgh club that i think got him a payday
    was always a good dude for a bmoc guy
