Ned's got two weeks left. Maybe he will finally sign Renteria.

I like the first half of your post. I dislike the second half.

A blogger conspired it might be Oeltjen given that he's on the 40 man and it makes sense to have a second outfielder. With Uribe down, Jerry Hairston gets the start at 3B leaving us with a bench of Gwynn, Kennedy, Sellers, blank... And what's missing is someone who can play the OF

    but who knows

Oeltjen could be, or maybe Josh Fields. Doubt it's Castellanos as much as I'd love for it to be.

I want Castellanos, but it will likely be Oeltjen or Fields.

dodgers.com corrected a previous statement, now saying he won't see a specialist

Castellanos hasn't played 3rd since 2009. why would it be him? he was strictly OF the past few years. Cards were done with him in the infield and the Dodgers are only giving him another go around at 2nd the because our OF is pretty full vs 2B

I disagree with that being the reason we're trying him at 2B. KG said he's vastly improved as a defensive infielder and is more likely an average 2B defensively at this point.

    thats good news VRP
but he still hasnt played 3rd since 2009. we're bare at 3rd base and we were bare when we acquired him. why didnt the dodgers try him there? they tried Sands
