I agree, I just don't think Boogie is a great locker presence.......IMO he has the same attitude that DeAngelo had. Im not sure I want that back.
I agree except that PG13 isn't on every corner and he knows it it's him trying to grease skids with PR to get to LA an extra ooch to make teams see eye to eye except that these days the NBA stars make many of their own alliances and trades owners semi hostage to players and agents
Said it before..if Cousins gets to the right environment, a winning environment, he could be the new age center/piece that ends the Warriors. GSW would have no answer for him with the right pieces surrounding him. His skill-set at his size is a problem for everyone, there's no way around it. All the bickering and complaining he does with refs is basically the same thing Draymond Green does with the Warriors..except Green's team is good. Anyway, even if Cousins doesn't land with LAL, just for competition's sake, I want to see him join a good team because I think the GSW would be scratching their heads..they'd be in trouble He's also one of the best passers in the league regardless of position
He's certainly athletic and long and fast.. running game around the rim is strong... mid distance shooting touch not so much.. prolific scoring stats yes.. clutch leader not so much so you might be right in the 'right' environment, a winning Lakers environment' but what do we have left as far as role models? Ball is just a college sophmore NBA rookie thats asking a lot can't really expect to trot out long irrelevent Ron thats asking a lot too
He's had his problems with authoritative figures, not really teammates..he's popular with teammates. He acts up @ practice sometimes..not really a thing where he's barely on time habitually ala D'angelo. Anyway, I don't mind some attitude if the player is elite and he's the best big man in the game..I actually like for my bigs to have a pulse. Well, I'd rather them be too fiery and have to be calmed down than the opposite I should say. A balance would be best, but sometimes you can't have it all. But I'm not 110% behind adding Cousins..more like 60/40 or 70/30, about the same or a little better as the idea of Westbrook. Again, I still want to see what a winning atmosphere could do for him + a coach like Luke that's not that far removed from the court..and president like Magic that'd have the balls to put him in his place if he stepped over the line. Sacramento's organization is shitty top to bottom, lucky they still have a team.
not at all Howard's problem is that he is charmin soft in the head and surprisingly his body. Cousins is not soft at all. He is no milquetoast either. he just has a chip on his shoulder only one thing will knock that chip off winning a ship with a great franchise under a coach that talks to him instead of at or down to him.
no to trading zubie and tbh PG is talking out both sides now and why would we base our future on one guy and what he says atm? if he really wants to come to LA he will part of me thinks the pacers just went to him and said "what could it hurt if you said you are keeping your options open in public?" that way it gives the pacers leverage back and hey haven't we been good to you PG? its all bluster but no way we should gut the team on a B level superstar and fuck wade and melo and all that ish young and fast is the plan not guys living on the fumes of their past lives
I really like old Brook Lopez running around this Luke offense. Man Phil would have killed for a Brook Lopez. Well if he defended andrebounded better..
