I'm sure there are attractive reasons for living in any city but as it says in my post he's a Cali kid and what I didn't reference was that as growing up a Laker fan would you want to play for them. I get it though that money does talk and people do get affected in different ways when they actually live in a city but I don't see it.
If Boston takes our black guy then we will take their white guy. Paul George is really nice to have, but Gordon Hayward is a nice consolation prize.
A part of me thinks this is to give OKC one more try before the blowup occurs. All the cards are not on the table yet.
Oladipo, Indiana guy..I guess Indy can sell that Sabonis, meh. I feel like Randle is gonna be better than both of those fools..already is in my book
The Clips are gonna SUCK next year if this is all they get. OKC and Clips essentially swap places in ranking out West. None are enough to beat GS. PG might as well end his career in a Laker uniform close to home. Who knows. With the way Gilbert is treating Lebron, and Westbrook stuck between a rock and a hard place, we might get a PG/Westbrook/Lebron superteam in LA after all.
Chris Mannix(@ChrisMannixYS) Per one NBA team exec: "If the Lakers think Paul George is just going to walk away from a winner...I wouldn't count on it." Win what? Lol I'm more concerned with George turning down the extra year/30-40M that OKC is eventually going to offer him, but LAL didn't seemed to be all that concerned about it..wouldn't sweeten their offer.
What a horrible deal for the Clips. Griffin can't stay healthy as it is and his game isn't going to age well at all.
Yeah, that was the " lets try to at least stay better than the Lakers " deal Should've just embraced the rebuild, let Blake go and dealt Deandre as well But I thank old Jerry..LeBron isn't signing up for that Clipper shit
They brought it on themselves. When they moved that team away from Seattle, out went all their allure as a free agent destination..and then they go cheap and trade Harden. Smh Desperation here by Presti/OKC..Griffin probably laughed at their attempt to pull him from LA If there's any player I'm not worried about convincing George to stay, it's gunner Westbrook
They panicked by following the "not to the Lakers...anybody but the Lakers" mantra. And they screwed themselves in the process.
