Looks like Zo didn't wait until his 4th year/contract year to hit the gym hard.
Makes Julius look bad. D'angelo too. No excuses.
Again, they'd better not trade Zo. Definitely don't dislike the idea of Zo and LeBron in the weight room [no homo]. Zo has a high ceiling

Nah it didn't make Julius look bad, Julius taught Zo what must be done to grow up in the NBA.

And, even being a Buckeye, I'm sooooo past D'angelo, that fool blew his best golden chance and Magic was right to cast him away because even while the jury is out on how great Zo can become.. he's still way better than Russell.

Now "IF" we can gain Kawhi to show what stout mid-size "D" looks like then Zo could see by example and really become something...

Of course it DID help having LaVar's mouth overseas for awhile. I heard Liangelo went 4 of 16 from downtown in a recent pro tryout.. LOL so much for the master plan..

haha I mean blown up traps like that in a short period of time can be a tell-tale sign of someone not playing by the rules (HGH, Anabolic steroids, etc)

On that same note, our friend on the cover of the ESPN body issue looks a little sus to me as well.

In his post-draft interview with the media on Thursday, general manager Rob Pelinka talked about the work he’s seen Ball put in this offseason, which apparently has included weekly film sessions with team president Magic Johnson (via Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN):

“ He came to Magic and said ‘I’d like to start watching film with you once a week, just to learn, and so Magic, and myself, and Lonzo have been in our incredible film room once a week for an hour doing sessions. "

    " Thanks, Julius. " Lol

Well, here they go. Woj now reporting that " LAL is under pressure to complete a trade for Kawhi and that they're racing to get it done. " That said, if LAL can convince George to opt into his final year and do what CP3 did last year, LAL could just sign a 3rd FA star this offseason. They actually don't have to trade for the 3rd star like Kawhi or Lillard if George plays @ a little less than 21M next year instead of 30M. Thanks to his injury, it's possible Cousins could be the 3rd star. Offer him 1 and 1 with a player option for the 2nd year starting at 14-16M..if LAL can get somebody to take Deng.

OKC certainly won't be taking Deng. OKC is looking at a 120M luxury tax bill thanks to being repeaters. Lol Wonder if they low key want George out given that bill. Not a crazy thought. That group certainly isn't worth that amount. Crazy to think that OKC wouldn't pay the luxury tax to keep Harden with Westbrook and Durant, but then they go luxury tax crazy for George and Melo. Smh Pathetic. They've been fucking up for a long time, starting with moving that team out of Seattle.

Story includes Lakers working to acquire a future first-round pick with a willingness to accept salary dumps for 2018-19 season. Lakers could flip a pick into a potential Leonard trade, and still keep one max salary slot open for free agency.

So a salary dump to get another 1st and then flip the pick and more into a Leonard trade?
I actually don't hate it if it means LAL can maybe keep 2 of Kuz, Zo and Ingram.
Guess it depends on who this salary dump is..tough to say.
Chandler Parsons is a lil bitch, but next to LeBron he may actually revive his career. Nah, fuck him. Tired of seeing him in Vegas with IG models every time I'm there too.
And dear god, no, they'd better not be in touch with Brooklyn about Dwight..not sure if Dwight can even be traded right after getting traded, just saying.
Keep Dwight and Parsons away, I think they're buddies too. Smh
I wouldn't hate Wes Matthews Jr., but we sort of already have a younger Matthews..unless they're thinking about sending Hart away, which would piss me off.
How about Enes Kanter joining LeBron and Kawhi? Lol Nope.
Taj Gibson would be solid, I think. Pretty steady guy. Homecoming of sorts. Tyson Chandler? Seemingly always hurt.
Magic did play with Wes Matthews Sr...

Looks like it could happen right away. At least other business outside of LeBron..stuff leading up to LeBron. Sources: LeBron will look to make a decision quickly this time around in FA. Basically, he has nothing set up yet, so he can't just sit back.

Report: LeBron is now actively calling guys around the league that he would like to play with for LAL. I've been having this feeling like a Dame Lillard trade is an option for LAL/LeBron. Lillard wasn't happy in Portland back at the trade deadline and he's already said he'd play for the Lakers or Jazz if he ever left Portland in FA. He's also a LeBron guy. I just wouldn't be shocked if LAL ended up with Lillard instead of Kawhi

Yesterday Magic said no pressure, team has 2 off seasons to land stars. Who is a free agent next summer? Kawhi. Today, the Lakers are feeling pressure to trade for Kawhi and would have to fork over a fortune in assets. Leverage tug-of-war. Will be interesting to see where it goes

It's like Woj and Stephen A. are doing battle on ESPN, on behalf of the Spurs and Lakers. Lol
Woj for Pop and Stephen A. for Magic.
And dismiss Stephen A. if you like, and rightfully so for a lot of things, but he definitely had LeBron to Miami first

It is very interesting and like I wrote above I'm on pins and needles myself. Odd that that there isn't any outrage or at least emphasis on why the Spurs won't deal with us. I'd say it was their 1st assertion that they won't trade to the West but the Clippers are on a list I saw. So what's the deal? Shouldn't there be more of an outrage on that attitude?

It's now being said that the Spurs haven't ruled out making deals with any teams.
This was probably always going to come down to Kawhi's uncle and how he goes about scaring other interested teams off.
Kawhi's uncle is playing the bad guy role, taking the bullet, so Kawhi can control his own destiny.
Spurs likely don't want to come off looking bad, but they already look bad for the way they've gone at Kawhi.
They're probably fighting against looking like they don't have any control

I don't believe the Woj reports for a minute. Why the urgency all of a sudden.

It sounds more like the Spurs leaking crap because of the shitty offers they are getting from the East teams.

If the Lakers are smart, they don't bite and give up the store. Reasonable offers only.

Don't be stupid Magic/Pelinka. Spurs do not have the leverage here.
