It's the Melo effect. He has to be three teams removed before any team that's had him can be good again.
Kuz is definitely more athletic after all the hard work this past offseason, but good to see his jumpshot return I like the look of Lance, Rondo, KCP off the bench together, Wagner will probably be hell of a fit with them
None. Everytime they say something it's about him being reevaluated in a couple weeks. Must have been a hell of a bone bruise on his knee
Yeah I believe so, so he's gotta get in basketball shape and all that other shit before they put him out there
Hart may be a starter, but finishing doesn't feel like a lock..making bad decisions one after another down the stretch of these games and a step slow defensively
KCP no longer has a role on this team. That is evident even with Ingram out. PG: Lonzo 30 and Rondo 24 gonna split time here. SG: Hart 30 has heart and Lance 24 can dance. SF: LeBron 36 with Lance and Lonzo getting most of the backup minutes, PF: Ingram 36 with Kuzma 30 getting most of the backup minutes. C : Javale 30 and Kuzma warming up the spot for Anthony Davis. With Davis on the team Javale and a few other vets will lose their PT. PG: Lonzo 30, Rondo 18 SG: Hart 30, Lance 18 SF: LeBron 36, Kuzma/Ingram PF: Ingram 30, Kuzma 30 C: Davis 36, Javale 12 Thats a championship team for sure, with Kuzma as sixth man of the year.
I get it, however it's essentially a brand new squad. It will take time for them to gel, same thing happened to every team Lebron has joined-built from the ground up. I think this is a much better team for him than Cavs or Heat where especially in Cleveland, David Blatt wanted to run out of the half court set. That being said there is a lot to like, Lonzo looks like a completely different player, Lance is enjoying being the 6th man/sparkplug and Javale is a rim protector/offensive force that we haven't had in awhile. I do think Ingram or Kuzma is gone at the deadline in a deal. We'll just have to see. I will say without Rondo or Ingram the offense looked much more fluid.
