    I don't know. I could see them keeping him even with a complete implosion. After all, when the team is winning, it's because he's a great manager who should be commended for all the regular season wins, but when the team loses, it's because the players failed to step up. Besides, I've come to accept that ownership's priorities are ordered like this:

    1. Appeasing wokeness
    2. Making money
    3. Winning a championship

    Honestly, I don't know that I as a fan could survive a complete implosion. I'm still not over the last two atrocities of postseasons. I've bled Dodger blue now for about 46 years, give or take, and they've given me 3 (more like 2 1/2) championships. But this stretch with the Scarecrow at the helm has put a pretty big chink in my fanhood. I miss the old days where if you didn't perform, you were held accountable. Now if you check boxes, you don't need to perform. Unless something changes soon, I'm going to arrive at the decision that I just don't want to support that system anymore.

    This is actually the most realistic observation about this team I can support.

    Here in the south, when asked what team I support, I say, "I used to be a Dodger fan." Next question is why aren't you one anymore.

    I stopped responding about a year ago. They'll never understand how backwards LA, SoCal, MLB, and pro sports have become anyway. Here, it's college hoops and MAYBE the Bengals. I may as well try ro have a conversation with a fungo bat as explain what's happened to our fan base in the last decade.

    It's like the reverse of the Stockholm Syndrome.

    Some of the worst ABs imaginable with the bases loaded, especially in the first inning. Wild ass swings at pitches out of the strike zone.

    It appears Brasier has turned into the pile of shit he was his last year in Boston.
