    Chris Reed had another solid performance -- 6 IP (85 pitches), 1 ER -- and is quietly having his best season yet. Good to see.

    I was counting him out as a starter last season, but all of a sudden I have some regained confidence, his sinker is looking to be a really good pitch and now I think he could be a real solid starter in this league. (maybe not for us, or maybe so)

    Nice to see this turnaround from Reed. I have been a well noted hater of converting college relievers into starters, but this one may be starting to bare fruit. Hopefully he can continue to improve and help lengthen out our system.

    Makes little to no sense why they are keeping him in HiA unless there is something the team sees that nobody else does that he needs to work on. Even scouts are baffled by his lack of a promotion.

    I'm pretty sure that the Hi-A all star game was last week. I know he was selected for the futures game, but his level should not matter for that. Would have been nice for him to get a week of more advanced pitching in before the game if that is the case.
