Trout gets boned by a player with 40 more RBIs, a higher BA, a higher SLG, a ridiculous OBP, and on a team that made the playoffs? By "boned" you just mean he had a great season but someone had a better season?
Managers of the Year (announced Tuesday) AL: Farrell NL: Hurdle Cy Young (announced Wednesday) AL: Scherzer NL: Kershaw MVP (announced Thursday) AL: Cabrera NL: McCutchen
Dylan Hernandez @dylanohernandez 48s Don Mattingly finishes second to Clint Hurdle in voting for Manager of the Year.
I think people underestimate how good that Indians team was. The Red Sox went worst to first, but their problems stemmed from bad influences and a couple of guys that just needed to go. Also, Bobby Valentine. That season was lost the moment they made him manager. But the team wasn't bad. The Indians were one game out of the AL Central even though the Tigers knocked them around 4-15.
Hey Irish, how can I take BB's sig babe, change her bra to blue, and put "blue" on her other breast....completing her bouncing tribute to me? This is way more important than this AL shit.
that'd take some work let me see what i can do... edit: would take a lot. i'll try to come up with an alternative
this'll have to do for now my mouse stopped working so forgive the choppy graphics i'm sure tuborg will be jealous...
By "boned" I mean his supremely better baserunning and his better defense are more than enough to surpass the gap that Cabrera's offense seperates himself with. Cabrera was phenomenal this year and under normal circumstances he'd be the MVP hands down but there is a guy named Mike Trout who could turn out to be the greatest player of all time.
WOW no 1st place votes for G0ldschmidt? At least Trout got 5. I'm not crazy mad but please they (Cutch/Gold) were real close sabermatically. You can make a case for Alvarez being just as valuable as McCutcheon but who did Goldschmidt have to protect him, very interesting. Either way who gives a fuck. Kersh won his!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
