    SP has got to be better, almost has to. I DK if better than with Hamels or Price,
    But better. At least we know who is pitching. I guess that TBD guy got DFA'd.
    The BP was very shaky, so getting rid of two and replacing them with two others is , at worst, a wash.
    We'll see where we are at about two months from now.

    Nobody in their right mind thinks either of these two guys are as good as Price. But there's a difference between " want " and " need ". We have the best 2 starters in the NL and only needed viable/respectable Game 3 ( possibly Game 4) options. Wood and Latos are that. Anderson may even be that. However, a lot of us wanted Price when that acquisition wouldn't have guaranteed anything either.

    An 8th inning reliever goes into the " need category " at this point...Aroldis Chapman goes into the " want category ". Knowing the difference between " need " and " want " is a sure way to keep up.

    Peraza jumps right to #4 overall on our farm. Possible double play tandem of the future in the team's Top 5...both Top 30 in all of baseball. I fucks with it.

    Yankees wanted Peraza earlier this year...I remember clowning F Youk about that because they whiffed on both Peraza and Moncada. Haha Now we get Peraza. Maybe the Yanks will get Howie if he leaves?

    Blue Jays' fans on Twitter think their 21 year playoff drought is over. That's 21 years without even making the playoffs...for those of you who think we have it bad.
