Okay, science question related to Coors Field.

Everyone knows it's a launching pad, but I've heard several theories. 1: in the thin air, the ball will travel farther, and 2: the same thin air prevents the ball from biting enough to make breaking balls break.

The 1st one I totally get. The second seems far fetched considering how short the distance is between the pitcher and batter. Does it make that much of a difference?

Conversely, if the air is thinner, wouldn't a pitcher's fastball go even faster?

This also doesn't include the fact that in the thin air all players' performance may fall a bit due to the smaller amount of 02 in the air. Here, Rockies players may have the advantage being more used to the thin air.

I think the 1st reason is the only one that makes sense. The rest may just be psychological.

I would bet that Orel will go over his theory of the non breaking curve at Coors due to light humidity and no bite in the CO air when we get there.

For a dude that shit the bed with his own company defaulting on a multimillion dollar state loan, he sure has a big mouth. A know-it-all that knows nothing.

I haven't heard anything about Dominos continuing their free pizza promo after a no hitter, so I'm wholly against this no hitter. I'm bitter, shoot me.
