    We can make fun of the Padres on losing out on Judge and Turner but at least their FO is trying - that's more that can be said about Friedman and company. What did we offer Judge? 204MM? Yeah, just 156MM shy of being competitive - what a joke. Did we even seriously try to keep Trea? I have my doubts.

    Hey! We got Shelby Miller though!!! The guy who was good for about 3 seconds 10 years ago. Should be pretty sweet having him hold down our injured reserve list all season. Which would be better than him actually pitching an inning, the guy is trash.

    That's about the only positive news this winter.

    Anyone have an update on the Japanese pitcher? Or did another team already outbid us? Can't say I've been paying much attention.
