    That is our #4 (Diaz) , #27 (Bannon) , and #28 (Kremer) prospects according to MLB pipeline FWIW

    I thought I was a follower of our system but I don't any of them except for Diaz. New draftees? HAPPY it didn't include May but should we be worried about May? Was it his medicals?

    No reason to be worried about May. I doubt May was ever discussed at length. I can guarantee the Dodgers would not have sent both Diaz AND May for Machado.
    As seen by the package, the deal was always going to be one B(+) level prospect and fillers.

    Is it me, or were the 5 prospects we gave up kinda were lower level than I had expected except for Diaz.

    That package stings from a depth standpoint, but it is what you gotta do to get a guy like Manny. Diaz could be a stud, but none of the other guys in the deal have the upside to make us truly regret this deal. Now time to get out there and get a couple of relievers!

    That’s a hell of a fucking deal. Manny fucking Machado. I trust our scouts enough that they can replace those other 4 guys after Diaz rather easily. Basically, we’ll be able to find replacements. And still have tons of ammo for a trade for a reliever.
