unless you are one of his countrymen he doesn't want to dishonor
then you get two WS starts and a 5 oh deficit in game 7

Dave is on Facebook doing a press casual press conference. Biggest take away thus far, JT looked very good and will be back after the DL stint is over.

Part about JT is good to hear cause part of me was thinking that they got Dozier out of fear that JT’s injury is pretty bad

I hope Dozier clears out the stench of Forsythe, but Belli and Barnes have been pretty stinky as well.

With these additions scoring should not....should not I say.....be a problem.

someone mentioned earlier cody should be shipped down
    imo, for two reasons...
1 - to get back on track
2 - to knock that entitlement chip off his shoulder

That could work and our rotation would be Kershaw/Hill/Buehler/Strip?

Those last 2 spots could be battles between Buehler/Strip/Ryu/Wood/Maeda. And probably 2 of the 3 who don’t make the rotation make the bullpen.

I just posted elsewhere that with getting Dozier that might actually have the depth to send Belli down.

But his dad was on the Yankees and Derek Jeter was his best friend! He can't go to AAA!

Hill especially and that's more than likely the gameplan for him. We can never forget that Hill is no spring chicken. He's old AF out there, in fact, especially by this era's standards. And then he's also Mister Blister so they have to protect against that as well.

If Kersh is cruising, he's likely going nearly 90 pitches or a little bit beyond. After that, we don't have a guy that's trustworthy enough to just let him go. And at that..we can't even trust Kershaw not to blow up between say pitches #70 and #90. We know the 7th inning story.

I think Archer would've given LAD another weak contact type of guy that could've given Muncy more run at 2B..less exposing for his defense there. But it seems like once Archer was a no go..which they probably figured out like yesterday given all the reports saying LAD was in the back of the pack just sort of lurking behind a few other clubs for Archer..that they pivoted for Dozier to at the very least strengthen the defense up the middle. Anything he does with the bat being a bonus.

The rotation scares me a bit but in today’s game where the starters only go 5 or 6 in the post maybe it won’t be a big deal.

Harold’s big contribution was “this team is gonna catch some baseballs”

The one downgrade the Dodgers made today was on defense, since Logan is pretty good, so of COURSE Harold’s only comment focuses on the defense improving

They are so bad. If the Mets were in Iowa and not NY, they’d fold the club and move them somewhere else, like the 3rd circle of hell.
