    Oakland lost the Warriors and are losing the Raiders. MLB Commish making it pretty clear they could lose the A’s too if progress on a new stadium doesn’t happen soon.

    Mets have fired manager Mickey Calloway. I will be surprised if he gets a job in MLB right away as he was a lightning rod for controversy this year.

    Ken Rosenthal thinks Carlos Beltran would be a good choice for the Mets managerial opening. Reasons? He is bilingual and used to play for the Mets. Great criteria, Ken.

    Poor whites can't even win at that.
    Always someone stealing their thunder.
    White people are bigots if they don't support the hiring of people of color.
    White people supporting hiring people because they are of color seems like overcompensation for hidden racism.

    I will make it easier for people of color.
    Many white people are bigots.
    Many white people sometimes overcompensate for their subconscious bigotry.
    Its the same tendency a Scythian a Goth or a Viking would have after a few years of raping and pillaging.
    You can only twist and stroke your bigotes so much as the villain before you face the need to repent and go clean shaven so you may stroke your chin as a white knight instead.
    Problem with the white knighting is that more often that not the white cop is crushed by the very correctness he is trying to police and sadly becomes an hero.

    Society tries to make white people feel guilty for past sins they weren't alive for and had no part in. Like slavery. No one disagrees slavery was an absolutely horrible and abhorrent injustice. But to blame an entire race for something that (again) didn't happen on their watch is... what's the word I'm looking for?... oh yeah, RACIST. And yet white people fall for the guilt trip every time and trip over their dicks trying to make up for it. Problem is they can't. There is no amount of apologies or reparation that's good enough. At least that's what they'll be told and continue to fall for the same guilt trip in perpetuity.

    Or are we missing the more specific culprit?
    There should not be reparations as it is like a blood libel type of thing. Aka vengeance in the guise of justice.

    You should never feel guilty for your White privilege. That is bad news
    You may feel like you want to help others less privileged. That is good news
    You should never have to be told what to feel.
    But you should kinda get the idea of why blacks can't get over it. They need to forgive whites need to be the grateful dead.
    Get over the fact that their own families and communities sold them to the slavers.
    That was Africa.
    It was not paradise.
    If it was you would have been safe from the visigoth conquistadors.

    What's the old saying... Better a slave in heaven than a kang in a shithole.

    Why would they choose to get over it and kiss goodbye all the opportunities and benefits it presents them. Much easier to blame someone else than to actually be accountable. BTW you can say blacks anymore. Might as well say colored or Negro (racist).

    Joe Maddon is the Angel's first choice to take over their managerial duties. Also, his preferred destination is said to be the Angels as well. The Padres are trying hard to get a meeting with him, but it is likely that he will be Anaheim bound.
