I think MGT is getting a ton of credit. Everything ive seen puts the Dodgers Farm System in the top 10 no doubt and most have them in the top 5. Im sure Pages is getting all the credit he is due now..... but moving up to AA is a big jump in talent. We have seen quite a few guys that have done great in the lower minors and have not panned out when they moved higher.

    ........in the regular season.

The injury prone vets and kids with the training wheels still attached haven't won them a Series.

Take the fucking training wheels off the young pitchers......please.

Love it. Betts would’ve been the best free agent this offseason. Still very concerned about our potential playoff rotation after Walker though

And will be back with us.....hopefully. Nothing makes sense if this ends up being a rental.

Yeah... moving Pederson is just too odd for me in all of this. He is an incredibly valuable contributor and OF depth has been hit with this trades even if it did solidify one of the positions. Feel like we are in for one of those Friedman bursts where we see a whole bunch of dominoes fall in a row.

    Joc/Enrique would've been a perfect platoon.
So I hope they address left field with somebody who is capable of starting everyday. Otherwise, it's a net loss in LF. I wasn't big on Kris Bryant at first, but now that we already have Mookie, even a slightly regressed Bryant is a nice bat to have and would make the Joc trade more palatable

Boston paying half of Price contract tells you there was not much of an offer from Pads.

Very glad it wasn’t as expensive as rumored

Jerry Hairston Jr made a great point tonight on MLB radio. With the Dodgers lineup currently stacked the way it is, guys like Will Smith and Gavin Lux have a chance to feast at the bottom of the lineup. Pitchers are likely going to be worn out by our top 6 and could try to conserve pitches at the back end, meaning both our rookies could see a lot of fastballs and just pitchers attacking the strike zone. Someone else on twitter mentioned that they think the trade will give Lux a greater shot at the ROY due to that extra FB stuff that I just mentioned. I have a hunch that the offseason is not over for our FO, but this team is going to be really fucking good and should be a lot of fun to watch.

Do we have anything the Indians want (other than Lux)? Bryant seems more realistic.

For someone who has sworn off MLB I sure am thinking about this a lot...sheeeiiit

Joc and Maeda were moved for personal reasons. Team wants to reward them for their service to the team by both getting what they need.
Maeda gonna get lots of innings and starts to get his bonuses fulfilled.
And Joc gonna stay home and mash 40 hr and probably be a fan favorite before resigning to a Payday as far as he is.

Friedman is a hell of a boss.
Players in the league gonna notice what he did for these two guys.
They gonna want to work for him.
Hmmm I'm a free agent right now.
Maybe I'll send in a resume.
I hear there's a job open on his staff.

    Lol
I'm not even sure where he's going with it.
It's not like they just got signed from the negro leagues
They are already successful baseball players.

This from Chad Moriyama re: Angels trade
“Really need this trade to be announced already and also for what I'm hearing to be horribly wrong and they're actually getting Trout back.”
He was chatting with the Angels writer from The Athletic that was breaking that deal before they said to take it to DM’s. That’s ummm, not good.

I’m getting nervous that May is in this for some reason. His name was dropped shortly after the trade was announced and then pulled back by a couple reporters.
