    Looks good but not what i had in mind. I was throwing out to separate ideas which you merged into one.
    Lets focus on the SI one.
    I said 60s era but i was mistaken, in my mind i was thinking 50s era.

    I like that old font.
    Old fonts are always best, they flow most naturally and are full of refreshing minerals.
    SPORTS at the top and where it says illustrated we replace with the full name, daily sports pages.
    or just the word pages or just the word daily.
    there is no rule that says that all 3 words of our name must be on the title header image
    we could use one or two if we wish
    dont even have to be the word Sports which we highlight, that makes the most sense but we could highlight DAILY instead now that thedaily.com is out of business
    my eye likes things that have a familiar look to them while being employed a little different
    and if you got time, i want to try to use xf as a directory so folks at my church can better coordinate without having to use facebook, they dont like the ads and the game interruptions
    a website where members of the church can look each other up in an interactive campus directory type of way
    as well as a repository for the broadcasts and other media that the church generates
    could you help me with that Irish?

    an actual church, i been going every week
    its good stuff, good veggie food too
    nice people friendly faces everywhere
    like south park but with a bit less swearing
    im helping them with their broadcasting stuff, learning as i go but its fun
    and i got a few minutes of floor time to tell a story for the kids
    but its gonna be all laced with metaphor and subliminal messaging for the adults to chew on
    as well as some easter eggs and hidden gems for the younger adults and teens to figure out
    like i do here sometimes :D

    People would rather stare at their iphones for hours than actually engage in a real conversation nowadays. Hell, I've seen couples go out to eat and not say one word to each other. What the fuck is so important? Twitter? Tragic

    Nothing is that important.
    Self absorbtion; I see it every day where there is minimal communication verbally.
    It is tragic. And not only is it the death knell of conversation, I see the vocabulary of the Iphone users becoming less and less skillfull and dying completely as an art.
    I see people struggle for words and the ability to express themselves effectively is diminishing all the time. Much simpler to make up a shortened form of a word and not even have to use a tonal nuance by typing it in.
    Some people are fine with words if they have them in front of them to say...but are completely lost when it comes to speaking on the fly and making it interesting and compelling. I think this is partially a by-product of the use of electronics when not nearly neccessary.
    Like our president, for instance.
