I feel ya. At least he left 4 decades of his music. There will truly be no one who was as bold, fearless, creatively innovative, and always willing to go in a different direction than anyone else. And he is, along with Dylan, one of the greatest lyricist of all times.

Wow...life is so fucking fragile , man...Bowie was always a respected musician for me, a bit outside my favorites, but I truly loved Major Tom, or whatever the correct title was.
I really appreciated him as an actor, too and he made some teriffic, eclectic films that he was so unique in. If you are curious, perhaps you've never seen "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence" where he is a British officer in a Japanese prison camp. Maybe they'll play his films these coming days.
