    talk about irony...
my parents took us to see it one night
dodgers were at candlestick that night, but back then games started at 8pm so we made it back in time
    was marichal vs. bill singer
singer drilled mays in the ribs and later marichal answered by throwing two at singer's head
a bit later he drilled buckner and all hell broke loose
i specifically remember bill sudakis being in every scrap and going after marichal (always liked that guy)
    ah yes, memories
1971... was it really 45 years ago?

There was a late season game at Candlestick that year that was one of my all time favorites.

My parents' living room was filled, half Giant, half Dodger fans and all filled with beer and contempt for each other's team.

Manny Mota (who else?) cleared the bases with a late game PH double and Hoyt Wilhelm got the final out, retiring Willie Mays.

Kap is just using his freedom of speech as is his right under the constitution, I don't have to like it or him but I'll fight for his right to do it! At least he hasn't backed down, gotta give his ass that.

Sometimes you have to shake shit up to get attention on an issue. In addition some people don't articulate their views as well as others he obviously falls in that category. Whatever the method of delivery it sure has grabbed headlines which was the goal I guess.

Trump does his thing to garner attention for his own personal gain and not for a cause. He tailors his speech to the audience in attendance and at times can be hard to pin down but Kap's agenda is clear. His douchery not withstanding.
