axl used to have the best voice in rock
he destroyed it in the 90s arena tours
yet to new listeners it's still better than any other rock voice out there... Even if for us old fans it sounds warped.

Burger King chicken sandwiches are my go to if I'm hungry and it's the only place around.

    Chicken fries too.

Yeah i went to burger king because innout had a line of cars a block long the other day. I saw they still had those long chicken sandwiches and got one and some fries.
It was good. The bread is so soft too. And i think the sauce has horseradish or something. Its good.
Fries were thick and crispy. Better than the wood chips they pass for fries at the hat.
Weny back and had a jr whopper and the grill taste was nice. Im sure its fake smoke flavoring or something but it was not too bad.
Their value menu is good. The soft serve has good quality ice cream. The spicy chicken sandwich is great for a dollar. I might check out their breakfast as they serve french toast sticks for cheap.
Im noy a nugget person but my dogs love them and for 10 for a dollar fifty they make for a nice doggy treat.

You live out east, IIRC? You should be going to The Hat for burgers. It's not all about pastrami there.

I see people order burgers but when decent pastrami is around burgers become less of an option.
I love all kinds of sandwiches but when I go to togos or a good deli I get the pastrami 99 percent of the time.
I have a strong weakness for pastrami.
but most burger places sell shitty pastrami.

Out east? What is the Hat?
A famous place in NYC is the Stage Deli for pastrami and many things, especially matzoh ball soup and other Jewsish delacacies....you can bump into many celebrities there at any given time. Used to eat there back in the day, but not for years. Someone told me the pastrami on rye costs $ 14.00 now...

Little deli near the sports book at the Rio has a sandwich consisting on brisket, pastrami and corned beef.........an arterial delight. Rye bread, the proper mustard and a good beer.....heaven on earth.

i used to go to the hat in pasadena when i worked out there in the 90's
great pastrami and good burgers too
all their sandwiches were good tbh
and the chili fries... big enough to feed an army

there's another place out that way (eagle rock) called the oinkster
    used to be really good
then they appeared on that douche guy feiri's show
they hired some new hipster chef and the prices went up while the quality went down

another place (that i'm sure you gone darth) is out diablo's way... brent's

The Hat is a fast food place out here that's known for their pastrami dips but the burgers and the chili fries are really good too. This is a typical order of the fries.

I tried all of them over there, Stage Katz and Carnegie and I liked Stage the most. HUGE sandwiches. Katz closed down.

I find that I consume a lot less pastrami than I did in my 20's. It's a young man's game, and I'm impressed by the number of older guys in here who can still play. Much respect. Anyone under 30 should do himself a favor and eat a pastrami sandwich at least once a week (no homo).

When I was fresh out of college I worked in Cerritos and went to a strip-mall Italian deli 1-2 times per week, usually ordering pastrami - I can't tell you the name of the place, nor do I remember exactly where it was, but it was damn good.

    funny isn't it?
when i was a young lad i would have eaten tommy's every day if i could
    and now that i can... i can't
part of me regrets (among other things) that fast food joints didn't have value menus when i was in hs/college
but another part of me is grateful
are you back east or out here fsu?
