i know its inevitable but i just can't get used to losing all these legends one after another its like music is dying one of the all time greatest voices in rock and no one could imitate although many tried a lot of people say "one of the best southern rock bands" i think you can remove the "southern" part and just say one of the best bands ever period my daughter carries the middle name Melissa from the love i heard coming from Gregg's voice probably the original jam band and just straight up musicians one of those guys i just felt better knowing he was still around not sure why RIP indeed Gregg
It's very sad, but comes to each generation, that their favorites in most things, pass into eternity. My favorite actors, musicians, comedians, artists, not to mention family members of course, are all gone. You can never replace the beloved family, but the artistic industry individuals you sort of adopt new ones, like when a favorite player gets traded or retires. At least that is what I have done...but whoever that replacement is, they never quite seem to make it up to the standards of the originals. Or what they meant to you as part of your life.
