As you.probably already are aware of, the first murder wasp next has been found in Washington...steps are being taken to render it a one time deal ( I guess they kill the queen ?), but there is something else... I know this is after the time of most here, but Twilight Zone had a famous episode called The Zanti Misfits. Maybe you've seen it on holiday TZ marathons. Talk about life imitating art. It's uncanny. I'd love to know the genesis of tne TV creature...that episode was a long time ago.
Guess it was that windowpane I dropped.back in the day...wtv. But from a few feet away, these present day suckers look like a casting call for the episodes.
RIP Sean Connery... The start of all the James Bond portrayals and a fine actor. Lots disagreed with his attitude and beliefs about life, espcially women, but he really didn't care. I loved him as Bond, but in his impressive portfolio of movies, I think the Man Who Would Be King is my favorite. Also, unforgettable in The Hill . So many more.
what a life he lived born in my favorite city i've visited Edinburgh quite the reputation as an ass kicker
super typhoon just hit the Philippines displaced over a million in the city of Bicol was supposed to visit that area this year before 2020 happened
worked for the drummer of that band many years ago super cool guy and virtually broke music owes these guys a lot
that area gets hit a lot my gf is from there and her family still lives there we were doing some side hustles helping them rebuild guessing that just got washed out only so much cement can withstand
Did anyone catch the Bill Maher show this Fri. night...and his remark, " we certainly don't need Trump to come here and campaign with one of his super spreader events...we prefer to get our COVID the old fashioned way... from Justin Turner".
i know there are a lot of classic rock guys on this site i found a guy that lives in Downey selling off his collection of original rock promotional posters all in frames its a pretty vast collection and he keeps listing stuff also pretty reasonable for originals https://www.ebay.com/str/setthetone
kind of float back and forth between whiskey and rum so crazy how both of those worlds have been turned upside down for me the Japanese are creating some of the most delicious whiskey i've ever tasted but i do love my rum since i kinda discovered how amazing the Central American rums are while i was there i think CR and Guatemala are the epicenter for truly great rum Centenario from CR is by far my favorite followed by Zacapa 23 in the $40-60 range which is tough after having picked it up for $20 at duty free but oh well just happened to notice a new brand (to me anyway) El Pasador de Oro also from Guatemala at just over $30 and its delicious having only had Bacardi, Myers and the PR and Jamaican brands it was an eye opener so weird how its taken so long for Central America to break this market but its here now that's for sure
Absolutely great documentary is SHO 's The Comedy Store...it is so full of what made our culture what is today, the way we think, the way we remember, just all encompassing in scope. And hilarious. Nostalgic. Sometimes sad. Probably one of the best things, overall, on TV in years. The information given and stories told are priceless. Don't miss it.
