True love ( especially in it's infancy) is often difficult...but as time passes, every whine and annoyance you are experiencing now, will be something that will turn to elegant camaraderie and an unbreakable bond.. You'll see.
    Best of luck.
    Seven weeks is super young.
That mix will give you very intelligent companion. Eventually, she will teach you many things about life...and your heart will soar like a hawk.

She is learning how to manipulate you.

yeah that pup is still missing mommy and his flat mates
don't have much experience w small dogs but he'll find his spot
after he chews up stuff and pisses and poops everywhere most likely
never a need to yell though because that only makes them respond in fear and that's no good
you can get them to respond and behave how you want w grunts and noises
just remember you have the two things they want most
    food and affection

Clocked out for lunch around 11:30
played with the dog for about 10 mins
cleaned up her fenced up area (change pee pads, washed bowls and mat)
she pissed on the carpet in two different spots in that time lol
    gave her food
she's been knocked out ever since in her area
by far the longest time she's been okay in her area
she keeps switching from sleeping on the floor to her bed and vice versa but not a peep

Let's never forget what today is the anniversary and what June 6th signifies.
I know no one here fought in that civilization turning day, not even me, but we don't have to go that far back of in our own families or someone close in another one, who laid it all on the line that day.
Getting rarer and rarer to find guys thzt are still alive from then...

Just finished "Leave the Gun, Take the Cannoli," a 2021 book about the making of the first Godfather. Couldn't put it down once I started. A lot of interesting stuff I'd never heard.

    Great book.
Interesting that Coppola and Robert Evans never got along in life, but Coppola paid tribute to him at the besmirched Academy Awards, finally, and admitted the film could never have been made without him.
If you loved that book, dont know if it's your cup of tea, but " The Making of Midnight Cowboy" is another fascinating book in the same genre.

rube put those there to fuck w you
so two days ago i fired up my tundra and heard the unmistakable thump of a critter in the flywheel
didn't fall out and couldn't see it in the engine block but by yesterday i could smell it
drove it to the school making sure to hit every bump trying to dislodge whatever it was to no avail
left the hood up overnight mostly to air out buy always hopeful and was able to spot a cooking squirrel in a space i couldn't get to of course
my mechanic loves me so i figured it would be his problem in the morning
after calling him and explaining what he was in for i went to jump in the truck and no more squirrel!
going to look at the cameras and see if i can spot what ate it but i suspect a buzzard
just not sure it would have gotten under the engine to take the cadaver but whatever ate it sure did since that's the only way it could have happened
at least that's what the evidence shows
think i'm going to shoot some lysol on the spot and hope the sun bakes out the rest of the death smell then i'll hose it off
