haha i have to have stuff on the dvr to watch w mom when Dodger games aren't on
there isn't much we have in common that way as she is into that Selleck cop show type thing which is unwatchable if you've ever tried
so we just started trying random shows and have shark tank, the profit and 90day
that show leaves me in tears and american douchebags try to go meet the love of their life in foreign lands
most reality just drips of being fake but if these people are faking then they should get academy awards

RIP Rollie Massimino. Never forget that look on his face after winning the title in 1985

I meant to say low fantasy. I get bored with high fantasy. Too much literary jacking off.
Then again I like the low church and see no point to the high church. It is completely off its own topic but its so far up its own ass it doesnt realize that its not a church anymore, its a governor.

Dragons are sea monsters that are draggin you down into the depths of the big blue sea. And im not talking about getting wet in the ocean. This is another type of sea.
Undead are people with no life, still breathing the air out there but nevermore breathing in spirals from within, If you lack inspiration your DNA is impotent.
Ressurections... did I say nevermore... miracles do happen.
Prophecy = reading is fundamental. It helps to have wide eyes, dilated pupils help you see more, the more you see the more you understand and the more you understand the more you have to profess to the mice who cant see around the bend.
The emo kid may just seem emo when he is dropping chaff to draw away heat seeking aggro. But to the fam he speaks modern english.

funny story from back in the 80's...
so i'm with some friends at the whiskey
and this crazy chick comes up and tells (not asks) me to dance with her
she was kinda cute (and i wasn't that picky back then) so i said sure
so i start dancing with her and this bkitch starts throwing kicks and shit over my head
i was like fuck this and walked back to safety
my friends are like "that's that tony basil chick"
    my response "who?"
"you know, the chick that sings that mickey song"
    fuck me

    but back to the present
so now she's (claiming to have become) withdrawn, despondent, and physically ill with sleep deprivation, nightmares, and anxiety?
let me let you in on something bitch...
that song makes me physically ill and dancing with you was a nightmare
just be lucky you had a (pseudo) hit and that -- for whatever inexplicable reason -- some mindless clowns (devoid of any taste) actually like it and want to use it

Toni Basil claims "Mickey" has been used without permission for decades
    Variety Magazine — August 31, 2017

Toni Basil, the one-hit wonder behind “Mickey,” filed suit in L.A. Superior Court on Thursday alleging that the song has been used without her permission for decades.

According to the suit, Basil recently became aware that the song was used in an episode of “South Park,” in a Forever 21 ad, and on an episode of “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” She was particularly offended that the Forever 21 campaign was in support of a line of Disney products, associating her song with Mickey Mouse.

“Basil was never consulted and would never consent to the use of her voice, persona, image, or name coupled with Disney products,” the suit states.

Since finding that her song was misused, Basil has become “withdrawn, despondent, and physically ill,” the suit alleges, and has experienced “sleep deprivation, nightmares, and anxiety.”

The suit documents a long history of the rights to the song, which was released in 1981. The original label, Radialchoice Limited, was forced into liquidation in 1985. Basil contends that the numerous transfers of the “Mickey” rights, which began shortly before the liquidation, are invalid because she did not consent to them.

Basil is suing Razor & Tie Entertainment, which currently controls the rights to the song, as well as the Walt Disney Company, Forever 21, VH1, and the producers of “South Park.”

    pretty much this
i've used both macs and pc's since the early 90's
pc's "were" better for work stuff (spreadsheets, etc), macs were better for graphics
those lines are a lot more blurred now but, imo, mac do everything pc's do... only better
you can run windows on a mac, unix as well

Thanks for the advice. The impetus to buy another lap top was spurred on by an offer for 5 pay option on a Dell. Looked at Asus for awhile so I'll probably check that out.

when they just played larry carlton filled in for him (not that they are even close on a talent level)
must have been quick he was 67
heard a piece of an interview today and he said " i caught a taxi in NY outside a studio and the driver knew who i was, He said we were responsible for the worst lyric in music history. Is there gas in the car? yes theres gas in the car...i think the people down the hall know who you are. I said thank you " Of course the lyric is from kid charlemagne and an ode to owsley stanley a SF lsd chemist of legendary talent and that is a perfect lyric.

i used pc's for work in the 90's/2000's because of the office products
but once you could runs excel/word etc on both i switched to macs exclusively
    and you're right on durability
