I appreciate the artform, but don't find most stand up comedy that funny. So I don't gush over Chapelle, Rock, Carlin, etc. Most of the comedians I watched growing up (that started in stand up) were good in half-hour sitcoms (Jerry Seinfeld, Roseanne, Tim Allen, Ray Romano, Kevin James, etc.) but I don't find them funny outside of that context.

When I was a kid, going back and forth to England on the Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth, they made brussel sprouts pretty much with every meal, which permeated the below decks.
