not at all valentines day is one of many superfluous made-up holidays perpetuated by hallmark and others if we want to give our women something it should be because we want to, not because we’re guilted into doing it birthdays and christmas are different than these manufactured holidays side note: my birthday is feb 16 when i was a teen, i used to break up with gf’s before valentines day to avoid getting them something and then spend feb 15 making up with them to ensure i got my bday present resourceful
Yeah, happy BD irish. Too bad they old schlong-cake birthday thread is gone. You'll just have to imagine it.
i always had issues around Christmas and then made up before New years lol as far as @jpldodgers it doesn't matter when you tap out if you've had enough mate
This and your statement on dags will always be in my quotable quotes book. Bravo. Long may you wave...
Good move because I think rates may come down a bit if the fed backs off their tightening due to the bank issues. You can also get that rate on brokered CDs through your investment account. I just got that same rate on a one-year Schwab bank CD. Convenient to buy and there's a secondary market if you need to sell early.
yeah this is through Merrill Lynch and i have brokerage account w them already just wanted to see the local sleazeball banker get his commission since he brought it up looks like the consolidation of the banks has begun in earnest as well as the drive toward digital currency have to figure a real estate adjustment is inevitable in the short term but a year hedge is nothing when all those real estate hedge funds we saw form in the last few years can't get their 3-4% returns on investment that should signal the real deals coming inflation has to be flushing a lot of people out of their homes as well
Never thought I'd be saying this to you left coast guys...but damn...do you know what snow is an acronym for ? Shit No One Wants. Getting creamed right now in northern NJ...
Bought a six and a three month T-Bill last week. 4.9% on the six month and 4.7% on the three. No state tax and liquid. Will be interesting to revisit these later in the year.
