Chip still has that suspension he'd have to serve from getting in trouble at Oregon. I seriously doubt he leaves philly on his own. If he gets fired, which I doubt would happen this year, then maybe he considers SC

Shitty competition, but it was still good to see Russell droppin dimes. 11 assists in 18 minutes is work no matter what.

Gonna be really interesting to see how it shakes out with roster spots 11-15. Kupchak said he'd cut guys with guaranteed deals. Sacre probably outta here.

Should never have been hired in the first place.

Yeah, he can't go walking into parents' living rooms and get the job done recruiting wise with that image.

Hopefully Haden is next, followed by the ball-less wonder Nikias.

Thoughts with Sark. This is a bad situation. I always kinda liked Sark. And this was his dream job.

Haden should be out next before the next hire. They can't mess it up.

If Sark was as conservative with his drinking as he was with his play calling, he might still have a job.

I wish him the best and hope he gets past his addiction.

Addiction is no joke. Glad they cut ties and hopefully he takes the time to get the help he needs.

Lamar Odom's former NBA team has him in their thoughts.

The Los Angeles Lakers has released a brief statement in response to the news of Odom being found unconscious at a Nevada brothel. A spokesperson tells E! News, "We are of aware of the media reports but don't have any additional information at this time."

Meanwhile, OC Register sports reporter Bill Oram tweeted, "Reports of Odom's hospitalization have reached the Lakers locker room, with staffers trying to find out to which hospital he's being taken...Lakers spokesman John Black says team obviously aware of Odom reports and monitoring situation 'as best we can and, yes, concerned.'"

He added, "Kings' F Caron Butler, a teammate w/ Odom in MIA/LAL, shared a hug with a Lakers staffer and said, 'Prayers up' before Kings took the court."

It's real. Prayers up for LO the Candyman

Is the USC job still a coveted position? Not tyring to be a jerk just wondering. Standards are so high as to invite failure. Who are the guys out there do you SC fans want?

It's a dream job. It's USC. It will always be considered a coveted job. Look at the talent. Who wouldn't want it?

We'll see who's on the list in the next few weeks. Too early to speculate. Haden may not be around to make that choice.

The question was who do you want. There's already a top 10 list. Haden's hires have been very suspect so you're probably right.

BRIAN KELLY NOT LISTENING TO USC JOB TALK
There's an open coaching job in Southern California, but the Notre Dame coach, whose name has come up as a potential candidate, isn't listening to the rumors. "What we do here is we avoid the noise," Kelly said ahead of Saturday's USC-ND game. "That would be considered a lot of noise."
